Box Score Wooster, Ohio – The men's soccer team dug themselves into a 2-0 hole against Wooster on Saturday but was able to salvage a tie with two second half goals.
Adrian Ables scored at 56:32, and EJ Moore scored at 68:41 off an assist by Zach Hoffman. It was Ables' fifth goal of the year and Moore's fourth.
Otherwise, there were a number of missed opportunities for the No. 19 Tigers, who took 27 shots to Wooster's eight. Wooster goalie Daniel Quinn made 11 saves while DePauw keeper Chris Yount made three.
DePauw also took seven corners kicks and committed 18 fouls, while Wooster took three corners and committed 19 fouls. DePauw was issued two yellows, and Wooster was issued three.
The Tigers still have not tallied a loss in the North Coast Athletic Conference, moving their record to 4-0-1. They are 9-1-3 overall.
Meanwhile, Wooster moves to 2-10-2 on the year and 0-4-1 in the NCAC.
The Tigers are back in action Tuesday when they host Ohio Wesleyan.
