Tigers Finish Third at Tampa Relays

Tampa, Fla. - Paced by a couple of firsts, DePauw totaled 88 points and finished third among five schools at the University of Tampa Relay Carnival. Tampa won with 116 points, while Limestone was second with 110.

The Tigers' 4 x 100-yard backstroke relay of Emma Haynes, Erin Horne, Kirsten Olson and Annie Graves won in 4:10.37 as did the 4 s 100 individual medley relay of Jamie Fritsch, Olson, Ellen Riehle and Graves in 4:19.30.

Picking up a second place was DePauw's 800 freestyle relay of Angela Newlon, Emily Weber, Olson and Caroline Bridges placed second in 8:01.90.

The Tigers return to action with a dual meet at Denison on Saturday, January 10, at 1 p.m.
