Greencastle, Ind.- The visiting Kenyon College Ladies' goal in the fifth minute proved to be the difference as they defeated DePauw 1-0, Saturday afternoon at Reavis Stadium.

With the loss, the Tigers dropped to 2-5-1 on the year and 0-1-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while Kenyon improved to 4-5-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the NCAC.

The Ladies took advantage of a free kick opportunity near midfield as Marie Laube connected with Maggie Smith to put Kenyon out front.

DePauw battled for the final 85 minutes, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Sarah Cho made eight saves in a losing effort, while Alissa Poolpol grabbed two saves in the shutout.

The Tigers return to action Saturday, October 4, when they host Wooster starting at 2:30 p.m.
