Greencastle, Ind.- The 16th-ranked DePauw field hockey team picked up a 9-0 victory over Oberlin, Saturday afternoon at Reavis Stadium.

With the win, the Tigers improved to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while the Yeowomen dropped to 0-4 on the year and 0-3 in the NCAC.

DePauw wasted no time scoring in the second minute when Paige Henry rattled the cage on an assist from Grace Goodbarn. Goodbarn would tally an unassisted goal just 38 seconds later. Maddy Burds scored the Tigers' third goal in the seventh minute on an assist from Grace Fisher. Reilly Bruce closed out the first-half scoring with an unassisted goal in the 24th minute.

In the second half, the Tigers continued to dominate offensively as Henry added her second goal just 1:33 into the half. Maggie Campbell extended the DePauw lead, scoring on an assist from Fisher in the 37th minute. Fisher snagged her third assist just two minutes later when she found Paige Berliner who delivered the Tigers' seventh goal.

Berliner notched her second goal in the 41st minute off a penalty corner. The Tigers rounded out their scoring in the 43rd minute when Bruce scored her second goal on an assist from Jamie Stoner.

DePauw outshot Oberlin 48-2 and held an 18-2 edge on penalty corners. Maggie Gossiaux made 24 saves in a losing effort, while the combination of Maggie Steele and Sarah Guendert each collected one save in the shutout.

The Tigers are back in action tomorrow when they host Wooster starting at noon.
