Mackey and Dozier's Wins Lead Tigers to Fourth-Place Finish at Indiana Division III Championships

Greencastle, Ind. - With a pair of Tigers capturing individual titles, DePauw totaled 73 points and finished fourth at the Indiana Division III Championships. Wabash won with 281 points followed by Rose-Hulman with 166 and Franklin with 82.

Marcus Dozier won the discus (155-3/47.32m), while Kyle Mackey took first in the pole vault and moved up in the national rankings with a best mark of 15-10/4.83m. Dozier also was third in the shot put at 47-4.5/14.44m to lead the Tigers with 16 points in individual events.

Paul Watts was second in the 10,000 meters in 33:43.04, while Amen Galley was third in the long jump (22-11.75/7.00m). Brian Mincks was fourth in both the 800 meters (2:02.19) and the 1500 meters (4:10.90).

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay was third in 3:30.90, while the 4 x 100 was seventh in 45.21 seconds.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, April 18, at the Rose-Hulman Twilight.
