Women's Track and Field

Tigers Break a Pair of School Records; Finish Sixth at NCAC Indoor Championships

Granville, Ohio- Led by one individual championship and a pair of second-place finishes as well as a couple school records, DePauw's women totaled 54 points and finished sixth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Celia Kauth won the high jump (1.58 meters/5-2.25), while Jillian Balser was second in pole vault (3.40 meters/11-1.75) breaking her pervious school record. Maggie Royalty broke the school record in the 60 meter dash with a preliminary time of 8.05.

Meghan Burke had an impressive day finishing in second-place in the triple jump (10.66 meters/34-11.75), third in the long jump (4.86 meters/15-11.50) and fourth-place in the 60 meter hurdles (9.41).

The 4x200 meter relay team of Amanda Weber, Jazzkia Jones, Royalty and Nicole Inman broke the school record with a fifth-place finish and a time of 1:48.32.

Kauth, Balser and Burke earned All-NCAC honors for their performances.
