Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Greencastle, Ind. - Kahla Nolan pitched both ends of DePauw's North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader with visiting Kenyon and didn't allow a run in 14 innings as the Tigers swept the Ladies, 4-0 and 3-0.

DePauw improved to 11-9 overall and 2-0 in the NCAC, while Kenyon dropped to 14-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

In game 1, the Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the first as Sammi Bell led off with a walk and moved to third on Taylor Golden's single to center. Gabby Smart followed with a single to left, plating Bell.

Lauren Krumwiede led off the second with a double and moved to third on Megan Landahl's sacrifice bunt. Grace Hendrickson followed with a bunt that scored Krumwiede and gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

Linsey Button ripped a two-out double to right center in the fifth and scored on Jennifer Ridge's double. Krumwiede made it 4-0 with a double down the left field line.

Seven different Tigers had base hits with Bell and Krumwiede collecting one apiece. Chelsea Delaney and Lindsey Susolik each had two hits for the Ladies.

Nolan improved to 7-6 with the four-hit shutout and struck out five, while Maddy Stark dropped to 7-3.

In the nightcap, the Tigers scored a pair in the opening frame as Golden walked and stole second. Smart followed with a walk and Julia Waggoner entered  as a pinch-runner. Button flied out to right and both runners advanced a base. Ridge then reached on an error that allowed both to score.

In the third, Button and Ridge each singled with two outs and Krumwiede followed with an RBI single to extend DePauw's lead to 3-0.

Kenyon loaded the bases with two outs in the fourth, but Bell picked off a runner at second to end the threat. They also loaded them in the seventh, but a popout to third ended the game.

Landahl had two of DePauw's five hits, while five different Ladies collected one hit each.

Nolan improved to 8-6 with her third career shutout, while Sylvie Thomas slipped to 7-3.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, April 1, when it travels to Denison for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader.
