Tigers Win Third Meet of the Season

Anderson, Ind. - DePauw totaled 113 points and easily won the Fred Wilt Invitational hosted by Anderson University. The team title was the Tigers' third of the indoor season in four tries. Huntington was second with 85 points.

Jillian Balser picked up a win in the pole vault with a top mark of 10-0 (3.05 meters).

The Tigers picked up 17 points alone in the 3,000-meter run headlined by Heather O'Brien's second-place time of 10:41.84. Siri Retrum was third in the event in 10:55.10.

Nicole Inman was runner-up in the 800 meters in 2:25.55 as was Ashley Guevara in the 1,000 meters in 3:13.55. Celia Kauth in the high jump at 5-1.75 (1.57 meters).

Taylor Brandstatter picked up a third-place finish in the 400 meter dash in 1:03.45 with Megan Hannemann also crossing in third in the 5,000 meters in 19:46.61 as well as Meghan Burke in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.59 seconds. Burke also was fourth in the long jump (15-4.25/4.68 meters) and in the triple jump (32-11/10.03 meters).

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay also collected a first in 4:17.90.

DePauw travels to Denison for the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, March 7-8.
