Greencastle, Ind. - Backed by a pair of firsts, DePauw totaled 61 points and finished fifth among 15 schools at the DePauw Indoor Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 165.5 points, while Cumberlands was second with 124.
Kyle Mackey won the pole vault with a best of 4.40 meters (14-5.25), while Marcus Dozier took first in the shot put at 14.88 meters (48-10).
Will Bond finished third in the mile run in 4:28.48, while Paul Watts was seventh in 4:32.28. Brian Mincks picked up a fourth-place finish in the 600-meter run in 1:28.01 with Dillon Raidt in seventh in 1:31.58.
Other fourth-place finishes included Aaron Krabill in the pole vault (4.26 meters, 13-11.75) and Amen Galley in the long jump (6.55 meters, 21-6).
Noah Gatwood placed fifth in the 3,000 meters in 9:08.13 with Brad Wise crossing in eighth in 9:19.63. Cameron Stewart placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.78 seconds.
The Tigers' 4 x 200 relay was fifth in 1:36.55 and the 4 x 400 finished fourth in 3:36.49.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, February 22, when it hosts the DePauw Classic.
