Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw returns to the court on Monday, December 29, when it opens play in the Tampa Bay Shootout with a 5 p.m. contest against Washington College (Md.). Monday's 7 p.m. game features Hobart College against University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. DePauw serves as the tournament host with all games played at Tampa Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida. The tournament started in 2004 and this marks the ninth Shootout with the Tigers winning the last five tourney titles.

Hobart enters the tournament with a 4-2 record after a 71-61 win at Rochester on December 10. Andrew Hoy paces the Statesmen with 15.2 points per contest, while Connor Rehbaum chips in 12.8 and a team-high 7.2 rebounds. Trey Blanding leads the way with 4.8 assists each contest.
UW-Eau Claire is 3-7 following a 66-55 home loss to St. Norbert on December 13. Tyson Kalien paces the Blugolds with 14.2 points per game, while Lewis Mau is the team's rebounding leader with 6.2 each contest and dishes out 3.7 assists.
