13th-Ranked Tigers Take First at Patrick Woehnker Invitational

Crawfordsville, Ind.- The 13th-ranked DePauw men's swimming and diving team took first place at the Patrick Woehnker Invitational after winning six events in the second day of completion, finishing with 891.5 points.

Wabash finished second with 743.5, while Hope came in third with 241 points.

DePauw took the top four spots in the 100 fly as Blake Lehmann touched first in 51.20 followed by Alex Alfonso, Chris Ercoli and Matt Gullickson. Casey Hooker won the 200 free in 1:41.32, while Alex Grissom and Kurt Swieter came in second and third respectively.

Ercoli won the 100 back in 53.04, while Lehmann finished first in the 100 free with a time of 46.48.

A pair of Tiger relays finished first as the 800 free relay team of Hooker, Swieter, Grissom and Stephen McMurtry won with a time of 7:01.37. The 400 free relay composed of Lehmann, Alfonso, Grissom and Hooker touched first with a time of 3:05.56.

DePauw is back in the pool Thursday, December 4, when they travel to Kenyon for the Kenyon Invitational.
