Springfield, Ohio- The DePauw women's soccer team picked up a key North Coast Athletic Conference victory Tuesday night, defeating Wittenberg by a final score of 1-0.

With the win, the Tigers improved to 5-7-2 overall and 3-2-2 in the NCAC, while Wittenberg dropped to 8-6-1 on the season and 4-3-0 in NCAC play. DePauw currently sits in fifth place in the conference standings, just one point behind Wittenberg with one game to go.

Caroline Zadina provided the lone goal in the contest in the 22nd minute when she collected a pass from Bridget Brendza and fired a shot off the Wittenberg keeper and into the net. That was all DePauw would need as goalie Sarah Cho made seven saves, securing the shutout.
