Box Score 2 Grand Rapids, Mich. - DePauw split its two Friday matches as it took a 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-18) win over Wheaton, Ill., before dropping a 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-19) decision to fourth-ranked Calvin. The Tigers are now 17-6 on the season.
In the Wheaton match, DePauw hit .306 with 46 kills. Lauren Falotico led the Tigers with 13 kills, while Mary Kate Etling followed with 10. Faith Rolwes had 32 assists for the Tigers, while Keely McGrath recorded four of DePauw's nine aces. McGrath also led with 15 digs with Rachael Lenderman and Rolwes each chipping in 14.
Calvin hit .421 to DePauw's .142 in the Tigers' second match of the night. Elisabeth Wilson and Sarah Burtenshaw each recorded seven kills with Rolwes assisting on 24 of the team's 30 kills. McGrath led with 14 digs and Wilson totaled three blocks.
Maggie Kamp led the Knights with 16 kills, while Laura Danhoff added 15. Jenna Lodewyk paced Calvin with 42 assists, while Elise Biesboer had 18 digs and Kamp two blocks.
DePauw travels to top-ranked Hope tomorrow for a 10 a.m. match and then face Kalamazoo at 1:30 p.m.
