DePauw Men in Third at Washington Invitational

St. Louis, Mo. - After the first of two days of competition, DePauw's men are in third place at the Washington University Invitational. The Tigers totaled 323.5 points and trail Lindenwood (395) and Washington (334). 

The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Blake Lehmann, Joe Hessburg, Casey Hooker and Jack Burgeson placed second in 1:35.78.

Alex Alfonso won the 100 free in 47.32 seconds, while Lehmann was second in 47.76 and Burgeson sixth in 48.27. Hooker touched first in the 200 butterfly in 1:57.79 and finished sixth in the 500 free in 4:44.99.

Alex Grissom was fifth in the 500 free in 4:44.61 and Andrew Petersen placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.53.
