Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw and Adrian battled through 69 scoreless minutes before the visiting Bulldogs broke through for the game's only goal and topped the Tigers, 1-0, on Boswell Field. DePauw dropped to 0-2 on the season, while Adrian evened its record at 1-1.

Adrian's Erin Weide knocked in a shot from the right side that sailed under the crossbar for a 1-0 lead at 69:13. 

The Tigers held a 12-6 advantage in shots, but Adrian put four on goal to DePauw's three. The Bulldogs also led in corners, 7-1.

DePauw's Emma Cooper recorded three saves in goal, while Lexi Lewandowski had three for Adrian.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 7, at Washington-St. Louis at 2 p.m. CDT.
