DePauw Women Win Fred Wilt Invitational

Anderson, Ind. - DePauw totaled 94 points and won Anderson University's Fred Wilt Invitational by 14 points over runner-up Hanover.

Leading the Tigers was a school-record and first-place performance in the pole vault by Jillian Balser (3.15m/10-4). Heather O'Brien also took a first in the mile run (5:20.18) as did the 4 x 200 relay in 1:49.85.

Katharine Kondry was second in the triple jump (10.56m/34-7.75), while Nicole Inman was second in the 800 in 2:24.52 with Katie Doron third in 2:26.62. Ashley Guevara finished second in the 1000 in 3:18.22 and Megan Hannemann was third in 3:20.09.

Nigelie Assee placed third in the 60 meters (8.37) as did Maggie Royalty in the long jump (4.83m/15-10.25).

The Tigers compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, March 1-2 at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
