Gambier, Ohio - Angela Newlon paced the Tigers during the second day of Kenyon's Total Performance Invitational with a pair of NCAA "B" cuts in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:07.68 and the 400 individual medley in 4:27.31.
The latter was good for a third-place finish and came after a school-record 4:27.00 time in the prelims which led the entire field.
Allison Kirby finished ninth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.64, while Carline Bridges was 21st in the 200 freestyle in 1:54.80. Annie Graves was 14th in the 100 backstroke in 58.78, while Bridges was 17th in the 50 free in 24.24.
The Tigers' 200 free relay of Jamie Fritsch, Bridges, Jennifer Norehad and Erin Horne placed 13th in 1:38.90 with the 400 medley relay of Annie Graves, Kirby, Newlon and Bridges finishing ninth in 3:55.94.
DePauw heads into the final day of competition in seventh place with 284 points. Penn leads with 1,381 and Kenyon is second with 1,086.
