Tigers Make it 17 Straight and Stay Perfect in NCAC

Gambier, Ohio - The DePauw volleyball squad improved to 17-1 on the season and 4-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-1 (25-15, 25-22, 21-25, 25-11) win at Kenyon. The Ladies dropped to 0-14 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

Mary Kate Etling led the Tigers with 14 kills and hit .538 for the match, while Faith Rolwes set 37 of the 45 DePauw kills. Tori Bowerman scored five aces with Keely McGrath leading the defensive effort with 17 digs. Elisabeth Wilson totaled six blocks and Etling added five as the Tigers scored 11 points on blocks in the match.

Sierra DeLeon led Kenyon with 16 kills, while Katie Goulder followed with 13. Hannah Shank had a team-best 39 assists and Scott had four aces. McKenzie Mitchell paced the hosts with 20 digs.

DePauw returns home on Tuesday, October 8, with a showdown against nationally-ranked Wittenberg at 7 p.m. in the Neal Fieldhouse.
