Tigers Extend Win Streak to Nine; Stay Perfect in NCAC

Gambier, Ohio - Four different Tigers scored as DePauw moved to 10-3 overall and 8-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 4-2 win at Kenyon. The Ladies dropped to 8-5 overall and 6-3 in the conference. The win was DePauw's ninth straight this year and 22nd consecutive in NCAC play.

Kenyon scored first as Maddie Breschi scored on Rachel Hall's assist just 1:39 into the contest, but DePauw responded later in the half with three goals in a seven-minute span.

Taylor Helms knocked in a penalty stroke at 23:06 before Maggie Campbell made it 2-0 at 25:40 and Laynie Thomas rounded out the first-half scoring at 30:24.

The Ladies closed the margin to 3-2 at the 52:57 mark on Julie Freedman's score before Grace Goodbarn wrapped up the win with just 1:06 left.

DePauw outshot Kenyon 20-6 including an 18-3 edge in shots on goal. The Tigers also held a 12-7 edge in corners. Maggie Steele totaled one save for DePauw with Kenyon's Sydney Carney-Knisely stopping 12 shots.

The Tigers travel to Denison tomorrow for a 1 p.m. match.
