Box Score Gambier, Ohio - DePauw improved to 9-1 overall and 7-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 5-1 win at Kenyon. The Ladies dropped to 6-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
The Tigers took the early lead on Chelsea Cutler's goal at 10:02 which came on an assist from Margaret Ellis. Kenyon evened the score as Cecilia Depman scored on Maddie Breschi's assist at 26:55.
Kate Jovanovic closed out the first-half scoring on Ellis' second assist at 32:30 before Bridgette Shamleffer made it 3-1 just 1:46 into the second half. Shamleffer's second goal at 41:58 was followed by Ellis' score at 46:08.
DePauw held a 20-4 edge in shots including 9-3 in shots on goal. Kenyon did lead in penalty corners, 9-8.
Maggie Steele totaled two saves for DePauw, while Sydney Carney-Kniseley had four for the Ladies.
The Tigers travel to Wittenberg on Wednesday, October 3, for a 5 p.m. NCAC match.
