Clermont, Fla. - The seventh-ranked Tigers improved to 10-0 after winning its opening two games at the National Training Center. DePauw opened with a 6-0 win over Southern Maine before defeating Middlebury, 3-0.

Against Southern Maine, the Tigers took a 2-0 lead in the second as Holly Paris singled and moved to second on Haley Buchanan's sacrifice bunt. Kate Hendrickson singled before Jamie Story drove in both with a single.

In the fifth, Cymone Allen reached on an error and Jen Kosinski followed with a two-run homer to make it 4-0. Amy Hallett singled and Lauren Krumwiede entered as a pinch-runner. Paris singled Krumwiede to third before Buchanan lifted a sacrifice fly to center.

DePauw's final run came in the sixth when pinch-hitter Emily Dieckmann led off with a walk. Elizabeth Ridge entered as a pinch-runner and moved to second when Samantha Szyska reached on an error of her sacrifice bunt. Szyska was thrown out attempting to steal, but Ridge came home on the play.

The Tigers totaled 10 hits led by Kosinski, Paris and Hendrickson with two each. Four different Southern Maine players collected one hit each.

Emily Bichler improved to 2-0 after striking out 12 and not allowing a walk. The final six outs were recorded via strikeouts. Stockwell suffered the loss.

Against Middlebury, the teams battled through a 0-0 tie for five innings before DePauw scored all three of its runs in the sixth. Kosinksi led off with a single before Hallett reached on an error. Paris then delivered a two-run single. After Buchanan reached on an error, Krumwiede drove in Paris with a sacrifice fly.

DePauw totaled five hits as Kosinski and Paris each had two. Kraytenberg had two of Middlebury's four hits.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday against Southern Maine and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
