DAY ONE RECAP
Canton, Ohio - With just one day remaining at the 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, the DePauw women have totaled 545 points and are in fifth place.
Denison leads with 1,093 points followed by Kenyon with 1,028, Wooster with 616 and Wittenberg with 552.
DePauw's 200-yard medley relay of Emma Haynes, Catie Baker, Courtney Lehmann and Nicole Rossillo was fourth in 1:48.45, while the 800 freestyle relay of Rossillo, Rachel Wheaton, Emily Weber and Baker was also fourth in 7:48.50. Rossillo's (pictured) leadoff swim set a new school record in the 200 free at 1:56.24.
Weber was 13th in the 200 free in 1:58.04 followed by Rachael Mercer in 14th at 1:58.37 and Rachel Wheaton in 15h at 1:58.92.
Baker made an NCAA "B" cut with a fourth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.84. Allison Kirby was seventh in the event in 1:07.39, while Bre Jennings was ninth in 1:07.981 and Gina Zerbini in 10th in 1:08.50.
Haynes was 11th in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.41 with Kendall Quisenberry was 12th in 1:00.66.
