Canton, Ohio - After the first full day of competition at the 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, the DePauw women totaled 248 points and are in fourth place.

Denison leads with 491 points followed by Kenyon with 461 and Wittenberg with 250.

Both relays finished fifth as the 200-yard freestyle relay of Rachel Wheaton, Mary Reilly, Courtney Lehmann and Nicole Rossillo finished in 1:38.06 and the 400 medley relay of Emma Haynes, Allison Kirby, Catie Baker and Rossillo swam a 4:00.48.

Catie Baker placed 13th in the 200 individual medley in 2:10.03 after finishing ninth in the prelims in 2:09.58. Emily Weber turned in a 12th-place showing in the 500 free in 5:09.21 Rossillo was 11thin the 50 free in 24.71 seconds, while Chelsea Courtney was fourth in three-meter diving with 322.60 points. Sarah Crandall was sixth in the three-meter competition with 288.75 points and Morgan Crandall was 10th with 219.5.
