Men's Swimming and Diving

DePauw Improves to 4-0 and Extends Streak to 20

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 4-0 on the season and extended its dual meet win streak to 20 straight following a 164-121 win over visiting Wittenberg at the Erdmann Natatorium.

Matt Gleason won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.44 and the 200 individual medley in 2:02.21. Casey Hooker was also a double-winner in the 100 butterfly (50.55) and the 200 fly (1:57.49).

Also picking up firsts for the Tigers were Danny McGuinness in the 1,650 free (17:34.96), Alex Grissom in the 200 free (1:45.50), Blake Lehmann in the 100 backstroke (54.76) and Matt Bacinich in the 50 free (21.78).

DePauw won both relays as Hooker, Matt Kukurugya, Gleason and Alfonso won the 400 medley relay in 3:33.62 and Lehmann, BacinichCam Johnson and McGuniness won the 200 free relay (1:26.50.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, November 7, when they travel to Wabash for a 7 p.m. meet.
