Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 3-0 on the season after defeating Washington University, 193.5-86.5 in the Tigers' home opener at the Erdmann Natatorium.
Matt Gleason led the way with three first-place finishes as he won the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.90), 100 fly (51.63) and the 200 individual medley (2:01.55).
Casey Hooker won the 1000 freestyle (9:51.34) as well as the 500 free (4:42.08), while Blake Lehmann taking first in the 50 free (21.45) and the 100 free (48.63).
Alex Grissom won the 200 free (1:45.36), while Alex Alfonso led the field in the 100 backstroke (55.12) and George Morrison did the same in the 200 back (2:00.51).
Thomas Bowers was a double winner in diving with 128.15 points on the one-meter board and 128.9 in three-meter competition.
DePauw won both relays as the 200 medley relay of Alfonso, Matt Kukurugya, Gleason and Lehmann won in 1:35.55 and the 400 free relay of Lehmann, Alfonso, Grissom and Jack Burgeson took first in 3:10.00.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, November 3, when they host Wittenberg at 3 p.m.
