Tigers Blank Oberlin; Complete Perfect Week

Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw scored twice in the opening 20 minutes and held host Oberlin scoreless in a 2-0 North Coast Athletic Conference win. The Tigers improved to 4-9-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the NCAC, while the Yeowomen dropped to 1-13-1 and 1-5.

Chloe Jacob put the Tigers on the board at 17:47 with an assist from Emily White and less than two minutes later Dana Sprague scored with help from Angela Cotherman.

DePauw held a commanding 20-2 edge in shots and 10-1 on goal. The Tigers also led in corners, 14-0.

Emma Cooper recorded one save for DePauw in posting her second shutout of the season and the team's fifth. Oberlin's Kate Frost had eight saves.

DePauw travels to Wittenberg on Tuesday, October 23, for a 7 p.m. match.
