Box Score Oakland City, Ind. - Andy Morrison scored two goals and assisted on a third as DePauw topped Oakland City by a 5-3 score. The Tigers improved to 9-1-4, while the Oaks dropped to 8-3.
Morrison put the Tigers ahead with a pair of first-half goals before the Oaks knotted the score at 2-2 before the intermission.
Nate Snyder gave DePauw a 3-2 advantage in the second half and the hosts again knotted the score. Chris Schoenfeld and Cole Thomas wrapped up the scoring and gave the Tigers the win.
DePauw held a 16-15 advantage in shots, while Oakland City led in corners, 6-2. Tony Halterman notched four saves for the Tigers, while the Oaks totaled six.
The Tigers return to North Coast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday, October 17, with a 4 p.m. match at Wabash.
