September 3, 2011, Wheaton, Ill. — Eighth-ranked Loras scored the game's lone goal midway through the second half and claimed a 1-0 women's soccer victory over DePauw at the Bob Baptista Invitational.

Rachel Rieger scored an assisted goal at 67:07 to lift the Duhawks to the win and a 1-1 record, while DePauw dropped to 0-2.

Loras outshot DePauw, 25-3 and held an 8-1 edge in corners. DePauw's Caroline Kerr totaled seven saves, while Michelle Vonachen recorded the shutout for Loras.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, September 5, when it hosts Rose-Hulman at 7 p.m.
