Morrison's Two Goals Lift DePauw to 2-1 Overtime Win

September 3, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw freshman Andy Morrison scored two goals in the game's final 15 minutes including the game winner with 3:20 left in the first overtime to give the Tigers a 2-1 win over visiting Millikin. The Tigers improved to 1-0, while Millkin dropped to 0-2.

Stuart Ball gave the Big Blue a 1-0 lead at 22:07 on an assist from Kevin Price and the Tigers didn't reach the board until 82:16 when Morrison scored on Sam Meyer's assist. Morrison's game winner came on a double assist from Meyer and Ryan Keefe.

DePauw held a 36-2 advantage in shots and had 10 corners to Millikin's three. Sam Nesemann totaled 13 saves for Millikin, while Nathan Sprenkel had one for DePauw.

The Tigers host Trine tomorrow at 2 p.m. The games are part of the Second Annual Robbie Dreher Memorial Wabash Classic.
