September 24, 2011, Gambier, Ohio — DePauw improved to 11-4 overall as it opened North Coast Athletic Conference play with wins over Wooster and Allegheny.

The Tigers topped Wooster 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-10, 25-23) before blanking Allegheny 3-0 (25-21, 27-25, 25-16).

Against Wooster, Katie Petrovich led the way with 17 kills, while Tori Bowerman totaled 39 assists. Kylee Lehrman and Paige Thompson each finished with five service aces with Lehrman totaling 26 digs and Thompson six blocks.

Petrovich led with 11 kills against Allegheny with Bowerman totaling 38 assists and Lehrman five aces and 18 digs. Thompson paced the squad with four blocks.

DePauw plays Kenyon and Oberlin on Sunday.
