September 24, 2011, Clayton, Ind. — DePauw shot an opening-round 320, but trails Centre by four strokes at the DePauw Small College Classic at the Deer Creek Golf Club.

Centre's Whitney Miller leads the 56-player field with a 76, while DePauw's Kelly Gaughan, Olivet's Adrienne Jones and Illinois Wesleyan's Katie Klosterman each shot 77.

Other DePauw competitors included Taylor Beaty and Abby Dickey at 80 and Page Gooch at 83. Playing as individuals, Kelsey Smith shot an 81 followed by Ali Rifkin at 83, Mamie Silver at 92 and Stephanie Aanenson at 98.
