September 17, 2011, Granville, Ohio — DePauw improved to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference after a 1-0 win at Denison. The Big Red dropped to 3-2-1 overall and 0-1 in the NCAC.

Andy Morrison scored the game's only goal just 1:01 into the second half on Ryan Keefe's assist.

DePauw outshot Denison, 16-8, but the Tigers didn't allow a shot on goal. Denison held an 11-3 advantage in corners. Nathan Sprenkel recorded the shutout for the Tigers, while Matt Wagner totaled three saves for the Big Red.

The Tigers host Franklin on Wednesday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m.
