September 12, 2011, Notre Dame, Ind. — Second-ranked DePauw shot a second-round 314 for a two-round 631 which was just one stroke behind Methodist's 630 at the O'Brien National Invitational.
Paige Gooch (pictured) finished in a tie for sixth with a 156 including a 72 in today's second round. Taylor Beaty was tied for ninth at 158 followed by Kelly Gaughan in a tie for 11th at 160.
Abby Dickey shot a 161 to tie for 14th and Camila Romero was tied for 16th with a 162.
Washington University's Olivia Lugar was the medalist with a 149.
DePauw returns to action on September 17-18 at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic.
