Box Score September 10, 2011, St. Louis, Mo. — DePauw scored twice in the opening 16 minutes, but 16th-ranked Washington University scored three times in the second half to take a 3-2 win over the Tigers. DePauw dropped to 1-3, while Washington improved to 4-0.
Alex Ehr gave DePauw a 1-0 lead at 6:23 and then assisted on Chloe Jacob's score at 15:43. The Bears needed just 32 seconds into the second half to reach the board as Emma Brown scored on a double assist from Kee Ann Felder and Kate Doyle.
Brown knotted the score at 2-2 with an unassisted score at 54:17 before Lauren Clatch scored the eventual game winner at 74:08 with an assist from Doyle.
The Bears outshot DePauw 29-4 and held a 9-0 edge in corners. Caroline Kerr totaled 16 saves for the Tigers, while Clara Jaques had one for Washington.
DePauw faces Fontbonne at 1:30 p.m. CDT on Sunday.
