Box Score September 10, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — Nate Snyder's first collegiate goal couldn't have come at a more opportune time as his score in the first overtime lifted DePauw to a 2-1 win over Earlham at Boswell Field. DePauw improved to 3-1 with the victory, while the Quakers dropped to 0-4.
Earlham scored at 14:14 on Irhad Strika's unassisted goal. DePauw's Sam Meyer knotted the score on Alex Johnson's assist at 69:16.
Snyder's game winner was at 99:01 on Ben Hazen's assist.
DePauw outshot Earlham, 25-11 and held a 12-0 advantage in corners. Nathan Sprenkel totaled four saves for the Tigers, while Chris Marshall had seven for Earlham.
The Tigers host Rose-Hulman on Sunday at 2 p.m.
