DePauw took a 2-0 lead in the first today as Kosinski and Emma Minx each drew two-out walks and Haley Buchanan was hit by a pitch. Hallett followed with a two-run single up the middle.

Cymone Allen singled with one out in the second before Rachel MacBeth and Brianne Weeks each walked. Kosinski then followed with the grand slam over the fence in right center which pushed the Tigers' lead to 6-0.

Hallett led off the third with a double and moved to second on Holly Paris' sacrifice bunt. Ashley Anton walked and Samantha Szyska entered as a pinch-runner. A wild pitch allowed Hallett to score and Szyska to move to second. Szyska later scored on MacBeth's infield single.

Ohio Northern's final run came in the fifth when Blewett singled with two outs. Pinch-runner Colleen Baliga advanced to second on a wild pitch before Mangola walked. Ashley Sujkowski singled, but an error on the play allowed Baliga to score.

Hallett's solo homer in the sixth restored DePauw's lead to eight and the contest ended after six after Emily Bichler retired Ohio Northern in order.
