March 23, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — Following last Saturday's first loss of the season, DePauw dropped one spot to a tie for eighth in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll. 

The Tigers had posted a 7-1 record at the time the poll was taken and totaled 132 points to share the eighth spot with East Texas Baptist. Emory and Linfield share the top spot and each has picked up four first-place votes.

DePauw, now 9-2 on the season, returns to action on Thursday with a 2:30 p.m. doubleheader at top-ranked Emory. The Eagles just moved into the top spot after it was second last week. Emory heads into a doubleheader with Piedmont today with a 24-0 record. Thursday's game at Emory can be viewed live with live stats also available.
