Tigers Suffer Tough, Six-Point Loss at Wittenberg

November 5, 2011, Springfield, Ohio — DePauw's women trailed by one point entering the final event of the day at Wittenberg, but the hosts won the 200-yard freestyle relay by one-half second to claim a 152-146 win over the Tigers. DePauw dropped to 0-2 on the season.

Emily Weber picked up the Tigers' first win of the afternoon with a 10:58.60 time in the 1000 free and Emma Haynes won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.44.

Morgan Crandall won the one-meter diving competition with 189.25 points and Chelsea Courtney took first on the three-meter board with 171.25 points. Weber posted her second first of the day in the 500 free in 5:21.79 before Catie Baker won the 200 individual medley in 2:12.96.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, November 18, when it hosts Wheaton (Ill.) at 6 p.m.
