October 22, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw improved to 19-10 overall and 10-4 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following today's 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-11, 25-18) win over visiting Denison. The Big Red dropped to 10-15 overall and 5-8 in conference play. With the win, the Tigers also earned a spot in the four-team NCAC Championship, November 4-5.

Abby Balbach led DePauw with 22 kills as the Tigers totaled 60 and hit .311. Brianna Holder added 49 assists, while Kylee Lehrman and Tori Bowerman each had three service aces. Bowerman finished with 22 digs and Paige Thompson had three blocks.

Lauren Strowder paced Denison with 17 kills, while Brooke Beavers had 13 digs.

DePauw hosts Bluffton tonight at 7 p.m.
