October 16, 2011, Wooster, Ohio — DePauw split its two North Coast Athletic Conference matches today after blanking Denison 3-0 (25-17, 28-26, 25-22) and losing to fourth-ranked Wittenberg 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-16). The Tigers are now 17-9 overall and 8-4 in the conference.

In the Denison match, Annie Collier and Abby Balbach each totaled 11 kills, while Brianna Holder led with 32 assists. Tori Bowerman finished with three service aces and 16 digs with Paige Thompson totaling three blocks.

Katie Petrovich and Thompson each had six kills in the loss to Wittenberg with Holder finishing with 13 assists. Balbach, Holder and Bowerman each had nine digs to lead the Tigers.

DePauw travels to Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, October 19, for a 7 p.m. match.
