Box Score September 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw scored three second-half goals on its way to a men's soccer shutout of visiting Spaulding University Sunday at Boswell Field in the Robbie Dreher Memorial Wabash Classic. The Tigers improved to 3-0 with the win, while the Golden Eagles dropped to 0-2-1.
Junior midfielder Ryan Keefe put DePauw on the board at the 51:23 mark, scoring on an assist from senior Gary Pett. Junior Kreigh Kamman and freshman Ben Hazen also added second-period scores as the Tigers posted a 13-5 advantage in shots in the contest. DePauw also had an edge in corners, 13-2.
Junior goalkeeper Nate Sprenkel preserved the Tigers' third-straight shutout of the season in the win with one save. Spalding's Arthur Ace posted four saves.
DePauw resumes play Wednesday when it travels to Franklin College for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
