September 4, 2010, St. Louis, Mo. —  DePauw is 2-1 on the season after splitting its two Saturday matches at the Washington University Classic.

The Tigers opened with a 3-0 loss (21-25, 25-27, 24-26) to Simpson followed by a 3-0 win (25-8, 25-14, 25-4) over Fontbonne.

Katie Petrovich led the Tigers with eight kills and four blocks against Simpson, while Ali Smith totaled 29 assists and Maggie Pajakowski added 15 digs. Abby Balbach led DePauw with nine kills and four blocks against Fontbonne with Brianna Holder totaling 22 assists and Pajakowski adding 11 digs.

DePauw takes on Wisconsin-Platteville and top-ranked Washington on Sunday.
