September 26, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw picked up its sixth shutout of the season in a 2-0 victory over visiting Centre Sunday afternoon at Boswell Field. The Tigers improved to 8-1 on the season and 2-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play, while Centre fell to 6-2 and 2-2 in the SCAC.

Bridgette Shamleffer put DePauw on the board with a goal at 22:06. Margaret Ellis gave the Tigers a 2-0 advantage with a score at the 32:54 mark for her team-best 12th goal of the season.

DePauw outshot Centre, 13-4, and held an 8-7 advantage in corners. Liz Attewell recorded four saves in goal for the Tigers. Sewanee's Patty Cowley made two saves and Cece Lindsey came on in the second half to tally six saves.

DePauw hosts Rhodes in SCAC action on Friday, October 1 at 4:30 p.m.
