Box Score September 24, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw handed visiting Oglethorpe its first loss of the season in a 3-0 victory over the Stormy Petrels Friday evening at Boswell Field. With the win, the Tigers improved to 3-3 on the year and started off Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play at 1-0. The loss dropped Oglethorpe to 6-1 and 0-1 in SCAC play.
Alexandra Ehr scored at 23:52 to give DePauw an early lead. Kelly Reeves added another goal before halftime, and Dana Sprague secured the 3-0 victory with her score at the 85:59 mark.
The Tigers outshot Oglethorpe, 17-6, and put seven shots on goal during the contest. DePauw also held a 5-0 edge on corner kicks.
Lauren Palfrey and Caroline Kerr made one save each in goal for the Tigers, while Oglethorpe's Sarah Nania made four saves.
DePauw hosts Sewanee on Sunday, September 26, at Noon.
