Box Score September 22, 2010, Louisville, Ky. — DePauw scored four times in the opening 22 minutes of their game at Division II Bellarmine, but the Knights scored four unanswered goals to take a 5-4 win over the Tigers. The loss dropped the Tigers record to 7-1, while Bellarmine improved to 6-0.
Margaret Ellis scored the first of her three goals just 6:36 into the contest before Bellarmine's Ellen West knotted the score at 12:25 on Rachael Walz's assist.
Ellis put the Tigers ahead, 2-1, at 14:46 before Kimberly Trainor and Ellis extended the lead to 4-1 with goals at 19:31 and 22:05, respectively.
The Knights closed the halftime gap to 4-2 as Brittany Raque scored with just 3:10 left in the half on Ellen West's assist. Walz scored twice in the opening 25 minutes of the second half to even the score at 4-4 and Rachel McAllister delivered the game-winner with 7:43 left.
Bellarmine outshot DePauw 17-15 and held a 7-6 edge in penalty corners. Liz Attewell recorded eight saves in goal for the Tigers, while Bellarmine's Samantha Biedron had four for the Knights.
DePauw hosts Centre at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 26, on Boswell Field.
