Box Score September 17, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Tenth-ranked DePauw was scored upon for just the first time this season as the Tigers fell, 1-0 in overtime, to No. 21 Ohio Wesleyan at Boswell Field this afternoon. The loss dropped DePauw to 5-1 on the season, while Ohio Wesleyan improved to 5-1.
DePauw was outshot, 18-9 during the contest and Ohio Wesleyan posted an 11-1 edge in corners. However, goalkeeper Nate Sprenkel made 10 saves to keep the Tigers within reach. Paul Hendricks recorded four saves for Ohio Wesleyan.
The teams battled though a 0-0 score after 90 minutes of regulation play before Ohio Wesleyan's Jon Stegner knocked in the game winner on an assist from Travis Wall at the 97:40 mark to lift the Battling Bishops to victory.
DePauw hosts Millikin on Sunday, September 19, at 6 p.m.
