DePauw Sweeps Friday Volleyball Matches

September 10, 2010, Terre Haute, Ind. — DePauw improved to 4-3 on the season after picking up two wins at the Rose-Hulman Invitational.

The Tigers defeated Principia 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-16) and Franklin 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-9).

In the Principia match Annie Collier and Paige Thompson each had eight kills and Ali Smith totaled 21 assists. Maggie Pajakowsi led with five service aces with Madison Hoenig adding 10 digs and Thompson recording five blocks.

Katie Petrovich totaled 12 kills against Franklin and Smith had 40 assists. Kylee Lehrman led the way with three aces and Hoenig finished with 13 digs.

DePauw faces Rose-Hulman and Eureka on Saturday.
