September 10, 2010, Grand Rapids, Mich. —  Host Calvin scored once in each half and sent DePauw to a 2-0 defeat. The Tigers dropped to 1-2 with the loss, while the Knights improved to 4-1.

Brittany Hieftje put Calvin on the board first with an assist from Elaine Schnabel at 43:05, while Stephanie Malburg scored at the 62:04 mark on Jillian Honderd's assist.

Calvin outshot DePauw 19-9 and held a 3-0 edge in corners. DePauw's Lauren Palfrey totaled eight saves in the loss while Ashton Hearn had four for the Knights.

DePauw travels to Hope for a 5 p.m. contest tomorrow.
