March 19, 2010, Minneapolis, Minn. — DePauw's 800-yard freestyle relay of Johnny Montgomery, Josh Baugh, Steve Klabak and John Cook broke last year's school record and finished 10th at the NCAA Division III Championships.
The Tigers' time of 6:46.50 broke the school record of 6:47.00 set by Montgomery, Baugh, Charlie Boehme and Cook at last year's Championships. With the finish, the four earned honorable mention all-America accolades.
As a team, DePauw has totaled 55 points and is in a tie for 13th with one day left. The Championships wrap up Saturday at the University of Minnesota.
