February 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — The seventh-ranked Tigers improved to 6-2 on the season following a 166-94 win over Division I IUPUI at the Erdmann Natatorium.
John Cook picked up a couple of wins in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.71 seconds and the 100 free in 47.21. Robby Spichiger was also a double-winner in the 1000 free (10:13.13) and the 500 free (4:50.85). Matt Kukurugya won both the 100 breaststroke (1:02.48) and the 200 individual medley (2:00.91).
Johnny Montgomery won the 200 free in 1:45.25, while Brogan Runion took first in the 100 butterfly in 53.09 seconds.
The Tigers' 200 medley relay of Kyle Kerrigan, Josh Baugh, Runion and Cook won in 1:38.11 as did the 200 free relay of Baugh, Montgomery, Cook and Tom Rich in 1:26.96.
DePauw wraps up the dual meet portion of its schedule tomorrow when it hosts Rose-Hulman at 1 p.m.
